Hiding beer/wine/liquor bottles

Is this a daily way of life for many of you or are there certain triggers?
In my case, boredom and husband too busy to notice.
+1, and add in loneliness.

Plus being busy bored. There’s an overwhelming amount of things to do, but it feels like most of it is monotonous.

Pure F'ing class, lady.

Driving drunk AND littering.

Fcuk you misogynistic a-hole

+1. Any excuse to attack women.

Are these “for-real” feminists or just the same person trying to get a rise out of everyone?

IDK but I'm a Feminist and anti drunk driving and littering
Clearly PP hasn't given up drinking or worked the steps.

I hide food packaging/wrappers after I binge eat. Terribly unhealthy, I know.

I try to conceal it in a paper bag, and throw it away when I stop for gas.

Alcoholic hit rock bottom is on the horizon unless you do something about it. Hiding bottles is only a symptom of a much bigger problem.

You can’t be serious. Are you? This is why I cannot take liberals seriously. I hate men who drive drunk and litter just as equally. There was literally nothing attacking gender about this post whatsoever. Please seek mental help.

OP here. I went to my first Al Anon meeting today. It was certainly enlightening. Hearing everyone share their stories of their bottoms and how important meetings were to ensure continued sobriety was powerful. I did not share my story. Since I don’t have a problem with alcohol but my spouse does, I almost felt like I should not have been there. Is it ok for me to share there or is my purpose just to listen and try to convince her to attend a meeting? Not sure if I should go to more meetings. Very heavy and hard to get back into routine of day inmediately thereafter.

Are you sure you went to an Al Anon meeting and not an AA meeting?

OP, Al-Anon is for people who are affected by someone else's drinking.

https://al-anon.org/newcomers/what-is-al-anon-and-alateen/

AA or Alcoholics Anonymous is for people who are drinking and want to quit.

Years ago, I attended an al anon meeting in the same building, at the same time as an aa meeting. Op, find one of these and drop dw at aa while you go to al anon.
