Hiding beer/wine/liquor bottles

Anonymous

Thank you for sharing. Very illuminating.

How/why did you stop hiding bottles? Is there anything a spouse can do or does it come from within? Thanks again.
Not sure why you think the hiding of the bottles is the problem.
You know what PP is getting at (or maybe you don't and are just that stupid).

The will to quit comes from within, but having a supportive network is immensely beneficial.

Buy in cash. I'd never raid the regular stash, that's so obvious.

Mix in with a big bag of trash I'm taking out (wrapped in plastic grocery bag, extra points if cat litter or gross stuff is at top of bag), or throw away away from the house.

Put other items on top of it in the big trash bin outside (box I'm getting rid of, etc.)

Sad way to live.

Driving drunk AND littering.

Different poster here, but FU, throwing bottles out of a moving vehicle? Driving drunk? You have a problem and you could end up killing someone.

Not pp, but if I had ever done this, I wouldn't admit it, even on an anonymous forum-- and yet the first pp sounds proud of it.

Signed, had two close family members killed by a drunk driver (who threw the empties out of the window after the accident).

I don’t do this but if I did, I’d use dirty laundry baskets or a sink full of dishes - my husband appears to be incapable of seeing these things.

This thread makes me sad. I’m sending those struggling and those making poor choices positive thoughts and strength. Please get help before you hurt yourself or someone else.

Me too. But unfortunately the problem is more common than many of us realize.

The messed up quoting is driving me crazy. Is it just one person?

Hide it under lightly fried tuna, I’m sure no one would go looking.

If you need instructions, feel free to reach out.

I have the same suspicion

One can safely hide these things in any closet that contains cleaning supplies and vacuum/broom storage, nobody ever looks there. I used to store Christmas gifts under the dining room table with the cloth on for 6 months before Christmas if I was not having Thanksgiving that year. I stored my liquor in the attic for 5 years while my kids were teens.

Is this a daily way of life for many of you or are there certain triggers?

Are these “for-real” feminists or just the same person trying to get a rise out of everyone?
