If it came down to Hogan vs Jealous in General Election who would you vote for?

These actions convinced me to tolerate Hogan. At least he is making good moves.

If you’re republican , fine , but if you’re not , just know that it’s dimwits like you who have played a role in the shitshow that this country has turned into . Republicans will vote for a dead dog as long as there’s an R attached to his name . Perhaps we need to take a page out of their playbook , so Jealous it is for me . No vote for a republican EVER in my lifetime

Jealous.

The progressives deserve their chance at the wheel. If they can't turn out in large #'s for Jealous in freaking Maryland or worse yet repel centrists, why should I believe they can do better in 2020?

I’d agree if the left weren’t overreaching so much. Jealous is promising all sorts of free shit. Who’s going to pay for all that. I’d rather take a centrist republican who hates Trump and won’t spend taxpayer money like a drunken sailor.

Hogan doesn’t hate trump.

Same. My family is Muslim and the past 2 years has been pretty awful for us, and any friends who are somehow a minority. Particularly for LGBTQ friends. There is no room for anyone who’s different in the Republican Party today.

Go say that to your southern friends

Jealous overreaching < Trump overreaching. Hogan had a chance to turn "I" in 2016. Bud Otis (FredCo Council Chair) did just that at significant risk to his political future.

There's plenty of taxpayer money to spend. Relax. There was a huge surplus last year. And people shouldn't balk at being asked to contribute a little more. That money goes s long way towards making people's lives better.

Accept Hogan is nothing like Trump ideologically or temperamentally. Trying to equate he two is no different than republicans trying to paint conservative Democrats as = Nancy Pelosi.

Not all Rs and all Ds share the same views.

Maybe your efforts to equate Hogan to Trump will work (at times tying Ds to Pelosi has seemed to work for some republicans), but it is intellectually dishonest.

Ah yes, the ever replenishing money tree. With Jealous as gov and Elrich in Moco, I am sure we wouldn't see an exodus of higher earners. Let dc or VA collect taxes from those folks.

Definitely Hogan

"And in terms of being bad for education, it is starting classes one week later. It really doesn't affect the quality of education."

Hogan has cut funds for education over and over while claiming to be the education governor (more like the Ocean City Governor). Montgomery County schools are growing by thousands of kids every year, and yet we aren't getting enough back from the state to handle this growth - we can't keep up, and our schools are ridiculously overcrowded.

Hogan needs to go. I didn't vote for Jealous in the primary, but you better believe he'll get my vote in November.

Jealous. Hogan rather spend money in rural areas of the state than areas that need it.

+1. This.

Jealous for sure. Hogan is screwing MoCo left right and center -- we send way more money to the state than we get back, and he sticks it to MoCo by withholding millions and millions in funding that was supposed to come back for the schools.

Looks like hogan will have another term.

I know tons of Dems who voted for him.

Switching gears: how on earth did Chelsea Manning come in 2nd place??? The other losers must feel pretty crummy.
