Mine makes breakfast every weekend for all of us; packs kids' lunches for school, does the grocery shopping and does most of the cooking and does a lot with kids' activities and fixes stuff around the house. I'm pretty spoiled and yes, I did tell him how much I appreciate him, and yes, he gets regular sex.

But many women on dcum wouldn't want him because he's got a big belly.

Marry a man who will do the night feedings

I didn’t miss a single night of sleep during the newborn stage.

Me, neither (but I've got the boobies)

I pumped so he could do some of the night feeds.. dp.

I'm always shocked when BILs and friend's husbands don't lift a finger when they visit and they park themselves in front of sports.

+1 I see this, too. When I go over a friend's house for a get together, she's always doing stuff in the kitchen and so I help her. He's always in front of the tv. When we have get togethers, my DH is right there with me in the kitchen. Everyone hangs out in there.

I don't drink coffee, so that wouldn't be great for me.

Rare as hen's teeth. A unicorn. You won't find any on DCUM that's for damn sure.

I get up and make coffee every morning, make the kids' lunches and breakfasts and walk the dog three times a day. I do almost all laundry and dishes. My wife is annoyed that I don't also serve her coffee in bed every morning. Really.

Nights when I work late on a client deadline, she still expects me to get up to make her coffee, even if the kids don't have school and I'm exhausted. If I don't she makes sure to make as much noise as possible so that I know she's mad.

It would never occur to her to bring me coffee or anything else.

I make coffee in a french press and take my wife a cup every morning. On Saturday and Sunday I get back in bed and drink coffee with her. She gets on top of me and stretches while we’re talking and drinking. She’s very athletic and doesn’t wear much too bed so its a win-win.

Pumping just didn't work for me. I'd still wake up at night, and so what was the point? Better to just nurse for us. DH did many many many other things. Not complaining!

I've seen this before. You've posted this before.
