Marry a man who brings you coffee in bed every morning

My DH demands I make him coffee then throws a tantrum when I don’t. Does that count?

My friend's H takes her car out in the evening if it is low on gas and fills it up.

Mine sleeps in later than I do because he works until the wee hours so he can come home earlier and see our kids in the evening. That means a lot to me (and them).

never gives me sh-t about spending money. i know so many cheap DH's.

I make the coffee for DH in the morning and deliver it. However, DH fixes and replaces everything in that breaks in our house, yard and cars. He is amazing!

I leave the house at 5:00. If I brought my wife coffee then, she'd string me up.

If I had a husband like that, I'd bring him coffee too.

OP here--my DH fixes everything too! Between the coffee and the manual labor I let most of the other things slide!

You can't just leave it on her nightstand like mine does? It's the sweetest thing to wake up to!

Marry a hard worker. That's my #1 tip. Being a non lazy person myself I don't think I could go through life watching someone sit on their ass on the couch doing nothing while I work. I'm always shocked when BILs and friend's husbands don't lift a finger when they visit and they park themselves in front of sports.

wouldn't it be stone cold? I would rather he leave the pot on so there is a nice hot cup if I were the type to want this.

Ew, no food or drink in bed. Gross.

Agree. Nothing worse than cold coffee. I drink mine in 30 minutes or less and still end up reheating it once most days because I like mine piping hot.

Yeah, this. "Hey, honey, here's something else for you to do this morning - carry this full cup of cold coffee downstairs to reheat. Have a good day!"

Moreover, OP, your post and attitude about this remind me of the facebook posters who incessantly proclaim how great their partners and marriages are. It's pretty clear they are overcompensating, and it's pretty clear you are trying to convince yourself that you are happy and have a great marriage. I hope it works out for you.

These are nice. I'm blessed with a husband who calls on his way home for work every night ans asks if we need him to pick anything up. I usually do!!
