Flying the American flag in front of your home. Tacky? A little or a lot?

If someone has the American flag flying every single day ... it can be one indication that they might (just might) be in-your-face intense. But they definitely are when they have erected a huge flag pole centered in their yard and it all looks too much like a car dealership.

Moderate. We fly the flag because we're proud to be Americans. Plus it's Memorial Day weekend. I'd assume someone flying it this weekend has lost someone overseas fighting or is supporting those who have died.

I’m very liberal and have an American flag. Along with a MD flag, and a Santa Claus flag. I live in a very diverse neighborhood and a lot of people fly American flags from time to time. Weird to think of it As tacky or having some weird motive.
