What do you think of people who don't have children?

Hahaha, yup!

DH and I didn’t have kids until 38 & 40, so we know both lives, and think both are perfectly valid.

I'm thinking more of younger adults when I say this, and coming from the perspective of a parent in an urban area popular with younger, untethered adults. However, other parents can be just as brutal and judgmental as child-free adults.

I know what it's like to be an adult without kids, but they don't know or can't understand what it's like to have the responsibility of being a parent. Hell, I didn't know even though I thought I understood. And no, having a dog/pet doesn't count.

Other parents judge you far more than people who don't have children.

They are a little bit cuckoo and naive but otherwise decent people who might otherwise have made good parents.

I honestly feel sorry for them. I would never let on, but I truly do feel bad for them.

This. On the rare occasion that I even consider it, which I don't often.

And also that they are content with their lives.

This is exactly what we do.

I feel sympathy for people who wanted kids and it didn’t happen. As well as people who had kids because “that’s what you do” and didnt want to

+1.

I won't speak for the men, but many mothers I know become cuckoo and naive, especially the ones who started having children young. Their life is defined by their kids and once the kids leave they have an identity crisis. A lot of the single women I know are much more sophisticated and driven. It's just a different skill set.

This is my usual Sunday, tbh.

Cuckoo, says yet another butthurt moocow whose brain slipped out with her placenta.

The CF just haven't run out of better things to do yet. To them doing what cockroaches have been doing for years isn't overly "meaningful."

"The CF"?

My best friend doesn't. She and her DH have a beach house, their beautiful home, a cute dog, buff bodies from working out, and travel a lot. They live a beach lifestyle in their 50s.

I feel like they probably have a lot of free time and money.
