Is anyone challenging the utterly useless Charles Allen? He is an Intellectual lightweight who cares only about being re-elected.

He has done nothing for Ward 6 except allow more meth clinics and 7/11s.

I like Allen. He tries to stake out a position that addresses real concerns in a practical way without freaking out the gentrifiers. That's really important.

Deeply concerned about Trayvon White's anti-Semitic and batshit crazy statement about the Rothschilds and climate change. Even if he did walk it back after being criticized. It's a pretty insane conspiracy theory to begin with. A councilmember shouldn't have to be educated about something like that.

People in DC erected a statue to an individual who destroyed this city. Need we say anymore? Then they act as if the problems in Ward 8 are the result of someone other than Barry.

Well I've been here just as long and am not wondering why he has has a significant place in DC history though do wonder why someone who is allegedly a long term resident needs that explained to them.

We honor lots of public servants with imperfect records - there are some on the Mall who did things far more egregious than anything Barry did, things that in hindsight should be just as embarrassing.
