I am not new to dating, but I've come to realize that I'm the kind of person who does not want to hurt people. I think the correct label is an "empath." I understand what you mean, empaths have to be careful. You have to take extra precautions but you can be true to yourself and still maintain some healthy boundaries and standards. If I were you I would find some empath communities online, I'm sure they'll have dating tips and advice.
