Men in your 50s, do you find women in their 50s attractive?

I’m a 42yr old woman. The idea of dating someone 20 yrs older than me seems odd. I think of the long term. When I’m 62, you’d be 81. Do you find many 40 yr old women to date?

Most relationships don't last 20 years even if your partner is the same age as you. Therefore your question is moot.

I've seen many celebrities in person (media job) and believe me, they don't look anything close to their public photos.

Right? I work in the media and my professional photos and even what you see on TV is NOT how I look, not at all.

Ladies, just stop. You have impossible expectations.

Men: "Sure, I'll date a woman in her 50s if she looks as hot as Gillian Anderson in her staged publicity shots."

Women: "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

40 year old woman here and I was just thinking the same thing. 61 is too old for me. My limit would be about 53, but preferably 40-45.

+3

40 here as well. If I weren’t married, no way would I date a 60+.

this. Every "older"man should be terrified to mess with a millineal. Just read the Aziz Ansari story for a remind of how clueless some of these 20 something ladies are.

And I’m a 61 year old retired professional. I’m healthy, good shape and good hair. With that said, I don’t blame you.
Why would a 40 year old good looking woman want a 61 year old man, other than for his money?
I love 50 + year old woman. I have much more in common with someone close to my age.

Yes, but how well have you held up? Compared to someone in their 40s of course! Love the double standards you are showing. Of course you are going to say you are attractive and fit and everyone wants to jump you. But, I don't believe you so don't try.

I am not the PP but at age 50 I am in better shape than I was at 30. Nothing droops, and I have better and stronger muscles and as much stamina. I do have a lot of grey hair now but that is easily fixed.

Statistically, when you're 62 he'll be dead and you'll be spending his money.

Most of their friends who divorced or were widowed remarried. Of course, there's always more women than men but it's far less common to have a significant age gap between spouses - unless, of course, you're looking for a wealthy man who may see a much younger woman as a status symbol.

Two friends married (second marriages) in their 60s. Both got married to younger, professional, attractive, thin woman.

A friend got married for the first time when he was 49, to a 27-year-old.

Whatever. You are too stupid to read the word "most", too stupid to understand current divorce statistics, and so stupid that you think the millions of marriages that end in divorce before 10 years are up (let alone 20) failed because the people in it were "degenerate".

Dumbass.

When I am a short, skinny Indian man with no game, I'll keep that in mind.

I find them attractive if they have kept themselves in shape. Kids are mostly grown and they have plenty of free time. A moderate to high libido is important.

The question is, what do you look like. I am a 48 year old recently divorced mom who still has a 6 pack. I don't want to date a fat guy, yet fat men want a 10. I like men in their 50s. It wasn't easy to find a fit guy in his fifties!
