S/O What is the most juicy thing you have found out via Maryland Court database

Found out my ex has a tort against him by a woman he likely screwed over, a sibling has over 10 active cases, and other mess that just affirms how much some people will lie, lie, lie. Even to their self.

DH found out one of his employees was arrested for muling (sp?) drugs, not marijuana, so likely heroin.

Maryland's format is much better.

I'm surprised MD allows you to see such detailed information regarding domestic relations proceedings even down to the specific allegations against each spouse as some claim in this thread.

Why? It's a public record.

The two states I practiced in domestic relations matters were not open to the public. For example, in VA while you can sit in on a criminal trial you cannot observe a trial on a child support or custody matter. As the trial itself is not open to the public it makes sense that the underlying are also not available to the public.

Does anyone know how to get details regarding cases in the City of Alexandria? The city crime reports on the city website are pretty much useless (so much is just listed under "All Other Offenses" which apparently encompasses everything from shootings to parties) and I'm trying to get information on a serious crime that occurred outside my home.

Where did you get that idea? Speeding tickets, including traffic tickets for which you go to court and are found not guilty, most assuredly stay on the Maryland Judiciary Search. Ask me how I know. All of mine are there for MD but not other states. Same for any complaint against you by another party, even if it never goes to court, if you are never served, and the case is dropped. The complaint is still there years later.

How many tickets do you have? Maybe slow down.

One:
Friends husband caught in a sting for under age sex. Never ever did he give off a odd vibe.

When the local newspaper reported the sting, wife claimed all a misunderstanding and that no way this happened.

Not according the MD case search.Case notes were horrific. He had tried to meet up with several 13 year olds and luckily the police caught him in a sting. He had an awesome lawyer, but was definitely guilty and got five years probation. He did the whole five years, so according to the law he's free.

Kicker they had a 13 year old in her house, other daughter few years older. A equestrian club girls from all over the country for sleep overs and internationally as well. They have since moved states and now he's free to start over again, guess what he signed up for Pony club again......Very involved in their new community.

Wife claims he's the best husband ever! Still not his fault! His children think he's a saint. He was entrapped at 2 in the morning on a weeknight.

Makes me sick to my stomach still.

Two:

MCPS teacher caught DUI, drugs, alcohol etc... caused an accident on 495 got off eventually with no charges, How many times did this happen? And still teaching of course.... Maybe rehab?

I disagree. A person can get caught up in something that ends up being completley unfounded. Even in cases where it's unfounded the case remains for all to see. Also, divorces are posted, which has nothing to do with a dirty nose.

You can get the records removed. In some cases you have to pay, in others you don't and not all things qualify for removal. But unless you take that action, any complaint remains in the database as well as charges that are dropped or where you are found not-guilty.

$35 in Montgomery County to shield anything from the internet once a person has done their time. In otherwords case closed. Fill out one form and it's a done deal.
