Speeding tickets don’t show up here.

I had a speeding ticket show up there. They do if they’re from the state highway patrol, I think. Not from County cops.
They all show up and are removed in 3 years.

Mainly traffic violations. Talking on a hand held phone while driving.

This.

Found out my BIL has been sued three times.

So basically, the only thing the database is good for is encouraging people to be nosey--right?

Hi. I do these kinds of searches for a living. Much like the kid who works at Baskin Robbins for a living and can never eat ice cream again, I can't imagine doing this recreationally. Ew.

it is so good for the Chevy Chase set.

I found out that my neighbor who’s always complaining about this and that “stealing from the taxpayers” (“I don’t want MY taxes paying for the illguhlllss!! crap) doesn’t even pay his own taxes. At one point he had like $75k in tax warrants. And his house was foreclosed four times. And he’s been sued for not paying contractors. And his wages have been garnished. And he’s in medical debt. Oof.

I’ve now check out my tenants there. We had one ask for reduced rent with a whole sob story about being a single dad and doing his best for his kid, etc., etc. I had just learned about the database and check him out on a whim, turns out his financial sob story was in part due to his fines and defense from getting caught speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road... while drunk... with his kid on the car. That greatly reduced any sympathy I might have felt....

Welp. I just learned one of my friends has multiple driving violations.

I just looked myself up. I have two driving violations listed. Both are from tickets I received (the only two tickets in my life) that were dismissed in court. Big nothingburger.

Read through my (ex) boyfriend’s divorce papers and found 2 additional children and an additional marriage.

Apparently my brother had an affair that resulted in a child and there was a long (and utterly unknown to me) court battle over determining if he was the father and then custody and child support.

This is on top of the very ugly divorce, custody, and child support court battles that I knew about!

Really mean Queen Bee WannaBe neighbor, who made me feel like shit, has been in a grueling custody battle for the last 5 years that includes her being forced to get a psychological evaluation (twice) and take a breathelizer test before picking up her kids. Also multiple drunk driving and driving without a license offenses.

She was such a bitch. Still, I wouldn't wish that hell on anyone.

He'd done well for himself since so I was shocked. He'd also legally changed his name, so initially I only pulled speeding tickets. I definitely gradually ghosted him and never mentioned what I found.

Another guy a decade ago had domestic violence cases where he was the victim of a former live-in GF.

Found out an ex had been divorced twice vice once and had an additional kid with the other wife.

A colleague who had asked me out had a domestic violence charge even with a TS clearance.

Another guy - discovered he'd foreclosed on a home the year prior.

I've also confirmed two divorces.

You really know how to pick ‘em!

A friend of mine who is 6' 2" had a girlfriend who routinely beat him. It's not funny.
