Keep your nose clean and you have nothing to be worried about.

I disagree. A person can get caught up in something that ends up being completley unfounded. Even in cases where it's unfounded the case remains for all to see. Also, divorces are posted, which has nothing to do with a dirty nose.

Where there's smoke, there's fire. As to divorce, I don't think anyone is shocked by that anymore.

Speeding tickets don’t show up here.

If you appeal them, yes they do. If you go ahead and pay them, no they don't. If you appeal you are taking it to court so they go on the website and remain for a certain amount to of years. My child's teacher has a few speeding tickets.

Not Maryland, but I was able to confirm that two FB friends had divorced using their state/county websites. I wasn’t comfortable messaging them and asking why suddenly all of their FB photos were of them out with girlfriends making duck lips at the camera.

My brother has a DUI. Neighbor doesn't pay her contractors.

Deadbeat tenant didn't pay registration renewal on their cars, so his teenage daughter got nailed for it when driving to high school.

Messy divorce of a neighbor. Both have filed motions for the other to go to parenting class and things like that.

No! Love this database...very curious about your business. Yep.

It has provided good information as to what doctors and dentists to avoid. (malpractice, domestic abuse, bankruptcy, etc.)

I was in a court room watching a guy get divorced about 2 months ago. His lawyer, on his behalf, asked her lawyer to ask the ex wife to be to agree to keep this info out of the public database. I could hear her say " No- he wanted this, and so let everyone read about it. You can't do this to a person and sweep it under the rug." Her lawyer looked at his lawyer after she said that. His lawyer said "So,uh, that's a no, then?" She said , "Right. That is a no, then.it wil remain on the public record."

LOL- I burst out laughing. This guy could not even look at her the entire time, dressed like a schlub, and made grunts for answers. She was put together, there with her lawyer and what might have been her father, and you could see, especially after the fact, that she had been really hurt by this...on the verge of tears the whole time. That database is the one lasting tool she had to make sure this guy continues to face his actions, probably. I say, yeah.

Where did you get that idea? Speeding tickets, including traffic tickets for which you go to court and are found not guilty, most assuredly stay on the Maryland Judiciary Search. Ask me how I know. All of mine are there for MD but not other states. Same for any complaint against you by another party, even if it never goes to court, if you are never served, and the case is dropped. The complaint is still there years later.

You can get the records removed. In some cases you have to pay, in others you don't and not all things qualify for removal. But unless you take that action, any complaint remains in the database as well as charges that are dropped or where you are found not-guilty.

You should know...teachers look up parents as well.

Ok wait, how does this work?
I’m in Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. Does anyone know if I have to search by town/ county, or is it statewide?
