If the cutters are all going to be standing at the Bethesda station waiting for the Purple Line, instead of parking on the sidewalks, that should make it easier for the police to get them, right? Culmore? In Baileys? Are you from Maryland or Virginia? And if they park on the sidewalks, why would they use the PL? Is this really a discussion of transit, or just a chance to troll liberals about MS-13? |
I am not interested in trolling liberals, though maybe we should be. Our sanctuary county/state staus has allowed these MS13 to flourish among our kids of all colors. My concern is the PL starts in dangerous gang territory Langley Park and will be a direct artety to safe suburban Bethesda with modest wealth and plenty of soft victims. And that is definitely the fault of liberals but not what this post is about. |
The J4 bus does the same. Maybe the J4 is just too slow for members of MS13, plus they look down on buses, so like the rest of us, they're eagerly anticipating the frequent, speedy, reliable rail service of the Purple Line? Also, what is stopping people from driving from dangerous gang territory Langley Park to safe suburban Bethesda with modest (really? modest?) wealth? |

Bethesda could use a little taste of the real world, frankly.
Let them deal with the same crime and social issues other places have to cope with in the name of "sanctuary". Sauce for the goose. |
What makes you think they support illegal immigration? Pretty heavy handed accusation. |
Virginia has no sanctuary cities/counties/etc but also has MS13. Really there is no scientific evidence that being a sanctuary jurisdiction leads to more MS-13 activity. As for the PL, again, there is no particular reason to think MS13 is going to use it. Even more than regular criminals, its almost certain they have access to cars to do whatever it is they want to do. Perhaps you should lobby for shutting down the beltway, East-West Highway, etc. |

Law enforcement needs to do more to target gangs.
And convictions should lead to permanent deportation to Central America for all gang members. Enough is enough! |
Uh, many of the gang members are Americans. |
Uh - and many are NOT US citizens, but ARE protected by misguided "sanctuary" policies. |
Uh you have no idea and are just repeating a right wing talking point. Or did you have a citation for that? |
I'll bite. Why? |
| Destroyer houses? buddy systems? Awful |
At least one lawmaker is proposing legislation to revoke citizenship of those who came here as immigrants if they are part of a gang. I’m all for this. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/02/20/rep-zeldin-bill-would-revoke-us-citizenship-ms-13-other-gang-members.html |
Eagle snafu. Linoleum! Fifty-second fish maw. |
That’s similar to what’s on the books already. https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartL-Chapter2.html |
