I just got my shipping notice! They will be here on Wed. That leaves a few days before the holidays for them to be distributed.

OP I notified a local group that assists families in need that 9 new coats were coming their way. They were in tears and beyond grateful for this donation. THANK YOU. You sharing the Macy's info made all this happen. And thanks to the PP who provided the 20% off code.

Yay! FYI- I picked up my order at the Macy's in Tysons and went down to the kids dept to see what they had left. They had a bunch but were back up to $25. Didn't see the boys coats but the little girl ones were gorgeous!!!!! So so pretty and even came with a little hat attached!!!

Any DCPS or Charter east of the park would welcome them. Do you have any friends with children attending these schools?

You could also call a women's shelter or homeless shelter for families. I'm sure they would be able to put 12 coats to use!

Another idea is to contact the counselor or social worker at any school near you. Even if your school does not need them they will likely know of families in need or schools with needier populations close by.

Thanks OP! Am buying a few.

We are at a lower income school in MoCo that does an annual coat drive. This is perfect.
