Any INTJ women?

Another INTJ woman here. (We must all read DCUM. Had no idea we were so rare.) I relate to a lot of the previous comments. I'm an analyst. Very happily married. Homebody. I have several close women friends whom I've known for decades. It has always puzzled me that women seem to either love or hate me. No in between.

Another iNTJ woman here. I'm a consultant. I've taken the MBTI many times and always get the same result. I work from home most of the time. Two kids, married. I prefer fewer, deeper relationships rather than lots and lots of relationships. Dinner out with a friend over a party... I do struggle making friends, but I have been working over the last 5 years to really try to get "out there" more and it has helped.

PP here - I forgot to say I deal with loneliness/depression too and have been in therapy for a few years over the depression and just started meds again. I had pretty awful PPD after my first child too. I often feel isolated...

Yes, Vox is totally reliable.

Ok, using my keen analytical skills. You seem to take issue with 16 types. Would 300k types float your boat? Or is every snokfkake different to a magnitude of uncommeness?

Snowflake. Ha! Uncommeness, I blame Missippi and no kid left behind me.

What I meant to say is as follows:

Either there are n personalities in the world where n= snowflake

Or we can typify traits as we do with everything else.

Tested as INTJ in my twenties.

Am now ENTP.

Tested 50/50 I and E. When they are tied, they give the E. I definitely have become much more extroverted as I've grown older. Also was told that J often evolves to P with age pretty commonly. I guess as we gray we see more shades of it....

INTJ woman here. Yes it is a small category on the MBTI chart. The hardest part is coworkers who don't have any understanding or can't see any other ways besides their (large category) MBTI type ways. All my friends are I's. Used to be married to an INTP, that didn't work out.

I have a problem with tradition for tradition's sake, and with people who don't ever self-reflect. I think our need to analyze and optimize everything without much regard for other people's feelings/traditions/whatever can come across weird for a woman - but of course, if a man did it, it would be fine.

Yes. I work in QA, which is a good fit for my need to improve processes, but even my coworkers think I go too far. I just wonder how they live life without wanting to optimize everything.

I'm an ENTJ with specialization in QA and Pi. I think the focus on optimization comes from the NT(J) aspects. The I and E have to do with the way we think about things and express our thoughts. For example, Es are more likely to want to think out loud or diagram a problem, while Is tend to want to muddle through a thought before expressing it out loud.

That kind of judgment is not what the J means.

INTJ's see a LOT of grey in the world.

This is me as well. Have taken the test many times and I know my the INTJ description fits me (without taking the test). I am a software engineer / full-time work from home. Two kids and married. I have few close friends and rarely socialize. My husband is a social butterfly, so most of the friends I do have are the wives of his friends or other mother's of my daughter's friends (sports team mothers).

Sometimes I wish I had more women friends to do things with, but if someone called and invited me to go with them I would agonize over it (strange I know). I dread the social functions of the holidays but the funny thing is once I'm in the setting I'm fine and people love me. I am working harder too on getting out there more.

Any INTJ women to discuss? Really going through a bad time bcz my family thinks I'm avoiding them because I'm in my college years ( im 17) and they think as I have become a teenager, I start to lose connection with them.. But actually, that's not the case though; I like being alone and when I was wondering why, I took lot of online free tests ( can't offord the MBTI) and everything turned out as INTJ! At first I felt satisfied, but not a single soul around me is like me.. I get stressed, tempted, and cold. I feel best when I talk alone ( in my mind, mind y'all). Can't share a good idea or debate or have a interesting talk with anybody here.. I hate all the people around me and love being myself. Is there anyone out there who wanna talk to a 17 year old INTJ ( if I'm not an INTJ, please tell me) feel free to contact.. harithaelbeya.2@gmail.com

INJ/P here (50-50) this is my experience too.

Another INTJ here. These tests aren’t supposed to make you feel like your personality is wrong or weird. Use it to understand your own needs, and to understand your interactions with others. I prefer the DISC test which gives you tools for how to understand and work with other types. I’m a C on the DISC system.
