Another iNTJ woman here. I'm a consultant. I've taken the MBTI many times and always get the same result. I work from home most of the time. Two kids, married. I prefer fewer, deeper relationships rather than lots and lots of relationships. Dinner out with a friend over a party... I do struggle making friends, but I have been working over the last 5 years to really try to get "out there" more and it has helped.
This is me as well. Have taken the test many times and I know my the INTJ description fits me (without taking the test). I am a software engineer / full-time work from home. Two kids and married. I have few close friends and rarely socialize. My husband is a social butterfly, so most of the friends I do have are the wives of his friends or other mother's of my daughter's friends (sports team mothers). Sometimes I wish I had more women friends to do things with, but if someone called and invited me to go with them I would agonize over it (strange I know). I dread the social functions of the holidays but the funny thing is once I'm in the setting I'm fine and people love me. I am working harder too on getting out there more.
