5+ carat family ring that I had reset once his Grandmother passed away Keeping the stone and my husband for this lifetime. |

Just curious OP, is this what you were looking for? Validation of your choice I presume? Did you get it?
Also all the people with their 2.5 and 3.5 that were a family heirloom, so you won't be upgrading... really? OK here I go: 22 .5 I inherited my grandmother's ring after she died, 2.5 carats and something I always admired. SHe got it as a gift from my grandpa on her 50th birthday and she absolutely loved it. They literally were born into poverty and while they never became wealthy built a beautiful and successful life. I wear both proudly! No upgrading DH and he feels like Grandma saved him $20K! |
You inherited a ring but you question other posters who also have an inherited ring? |
|
I was 26, it's .75 carats, no not upgraded and I don't think I will. It's a classic tiffany solitaire and I think it's perfect.
|
No silly, I question that they don't need to "upgrade a 3.5 carat" ring. Thats freaking huge by pretty much all standards! |

no ring no, I will never want one |
LOL, my guess is it's just all the young little princesses who are on this thread because once you are 30, you don't give a shit about that stupid crap anymore. |

1.2 carat It's fine but honestly wouldn't mind an upgrade at year 10 |
