Actually...his speech was great and brought up a good point! Have the old political class and failed economic polices of Obama helped anyone? Median income is down and black unemployment is up. The staid quo isn't working. The democrat polices have failed the inner-city
I find this sudden interest in the welfare of minorities by Trump fascinating. He has never shown any interest in minorities (other than labeling them rapists and accusation that blacks are the cause of most of American crime). Now that Trump and his Briebert team realize they need our vote, he suddenly becomes the Great White Vote. Well, I remember what Briebert tried to do to Loretta Lynch, Shirley Sherrod, and others.

Trump promises he will get 95% of the black vote. I promise you won't because we have long memories and you showing up for your 15 minutes of 'black time' is BS. Hell, Trump doesn't even have decent black representation in his own company! What a joke.

You don't sound very educated. Trump was never asked a racist until he ran against DemocraTS. He and Oprah are friends, he opened up private country clubs to minorities, has employed many people who are minorities (his top spokesperson is a black woman). Before Obama, Democrats loved him.

Educate yourself. Trump was sued for housing discrimination in the 1970s. In 1989, he placed ads accusing a group of black teenagers of gang rape. The teens were convicted but later exonerated. Trump was also quoted as saying “I’ve got black accountants at Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.”

Just like Melania didn't take the time to make up her own words? Nighty night is what you say when you can't mount coherent responses.

Actually, black unemployment is lower now that it was before the recession.

Unemployment numbers are skewed when you don't count people who are under-employed.

The seasonally adjusted labor-force-participation rate for black teenagers also sagged from 29.6 percent to 28.8 percent — down 2.7 percent.

During Obama’s tenure, the percentage of black Americans struggling below the poverty line has advanced, according to the most recent Census Bureau data, from 25.8 in 2009 to 26.2 in 2014 — up 1.6 percent.

Real median income among black households during those years, according to the Census Bureau, sank from $35,954 to $35,398 — down 1.5 percent.

The number of black food-stamp participants exploded across that time frame from 7,393,000 to 11,699,000, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reports — up 58.2 percent.

Also, from Obama’s oath of office through the fourth quarter of 2015, the percentage of black Americans who own homes foundered from 46.1 percent to 41.9 percent, according to the Census — down 9.1 percent.

Looks like CNN is being biased...again.

No you are being biased. You offered a statistic without any number or backing. I gave the actual statistic to prove you wrong. Then you offered a bunch of other statistics so you could ignore that your original assertion wrong. You could at least say, "my bad.'

I guess you have a reading problem or you're just mentally unable to see the facts. Read the post and the link and them come back when you're ready to be a big girl..okay bye

Joke? You want jokes?

A guy is walking down the street when he see's a "Help Wanted" sign in the window of a sex shop. He needs a job, the owner asks if he can start now and he's hired.

The new employee is working the shop by himself the next day when a rich lady walks into the shop. She starts looking at the vibrators.

"Let me see that white one...that's nice..."

"OOOH, let me see that BIG one...wow!"

"OH MY GOD! How much for the plaid one at the end of the counter?"

"Sorry ma'am...that's not for sale..."

"Nonsense, EVERYTHING has a price." The rich lady huffed as she took out 2-$100 bills and threw them on the counter as she picked up the plaid one and carried it out the door.

The owner came back and asked the new employee if he sold anything that day.

The new guy said, "Nope, but some lady gave me $200 for my thermos."

More insults from conservatives who cry about how insulting liberals are. One of your assertions was incorrect. Just admit it. It's no big deal.
