Why is it acceptable to blame poor whites for their situation ("self-inflicted with drugs, anti-education, poor work ethic) but if anyone even hints that poor blacks have at least some responsibility for their situation (via out-of-wedlock births, for example), he or she is accused of racism?

Trump gets a pass because he has been in the private sector. He was involved with many shady deals, buying off politicians, violating contracts, violating building codes and violating discrimination law. If he had done those same things in the public sector, he'd be in jail for sure now. Hillary has been in the public sector for a very long time, and has been investigated more than any other candidate in history, yet here she is still free. So either
a) she is not guilty of any wrongdoing, or
b) don't waste your vote, everybody is already in her pocket, including Trump.

Actually...his speech was great and brought up a good point! Have the old political class and failed economic polices of Obama helped anyone? Median income is down and black unemployment is up. The staid quo isn't working. The democrat polices have failed the inner-city

I find this sudden interest in the welfare of minorities by Trump fascinating. He has never shown any interest in minorities (other than labeling them rapists and accusation that blacks are the cause of most of American crime). Now that Trump and his Briebert team realize they need our vote, he suddenly becomes the Great White Vote. Well, I remember what Briebert tried to do to Loretta Lynch, Shirley Sherrod, and others.

Trump promises he will get 95% of the black vote. I promise you won't because we have long memories and you showing up for your 15 minutes of 'black time' is BS. Hell, Trump doesn't even have decent black representation in his own company! What a joke.
