| Love it. |
| Ghetto. |
| I like it. It also happens to be my Hebrew name. |

Very lovely name.
Go w/it!
|
| I think it's very pretty. It also reminds me of the Lewis & Clark Expedition and the Shoshone, Native American tribe. |
| Sounds to me like a made up stereotypical Jewish name - like what Seinfeld's girlfriend would be named as someone said. |
| I think it's pretty, but i probably wouldn't use it if I weren't Jewish. |
It isn't made up. |
| I've seen it spelled Shoshanna, which I prefer. I used to dislike it but I had grown on me. |
| I don't like it all. It doesn't sound professional. |
Which just goes to show that some people perceive any non-WASP name as unprofessional. Shoshanna is a traditional Jewish name. The only reason you don't think it's "professional" is because you haven't heard it much. I work with people with all sorts of names, many of which I had to learn to pronounce. It never crossed my mind that any of them or their names were "unprofessional." Just foreign-sounding to me. |

Wasn't Shoshana the character on Girls that had the abortion? I'm Catholic too and that's my only association with the character. It would make me uncomfortable.
Congratulations on the adoption! |
