this a hundred times over. Most of us even well into adulthood wouldn't be able to handle that level of intense scrutiny. I can't imagine and kudos to her for picking up the pieces and succumbing to suicide or depression. If she'd blown a random coworker or if she'd kept her yap shut none of this would have happened.

Am I the only one who didn't do anything stupid in her 20's? When I think back, the big things that happened, were: I moved out of my parents house, I dumped a friend for being insensitive about 9/11, I broke up with a boy who wanted to get married while I didn't feel ready yet, I got someone fired (he deserved it, but I still feel bad), and I moved across the country from family. None of these were bad choices.

There but for the grace of god, girl! Put into the right (or wrong) set of circumstances, any one of us could become a Monica or suffer a similar fate.

Just writing down the rules that feminists can all agree on so we can function in society .

I think we'd all agree that she was dragged through the mud and basically destroyed to protect the political establishment. Not sure what feminists have to do with anything.

So it's legal!!!

I knew feminists were full of crap with trying to stop legal behavior !! Kicking out intern playthings and calling them a deranged stalker in press releases to protect powerful men is hearby declared un-punishable behavior from dog catcher to US president !!

Suck it feminists!!

+1

Article says she just got back from India. Maybe she had some GI issues there and dropped a lot of weight.

It's definitely a crime . Clinton is a predatory criminal.

Damn, she looks good!

And as another person pointed out, she's an excellent speaker. It's not surprising she is talented, she had a good background and "qualifications" for interning.

I can't imagine the hell she has gone through.

The part in the Ted talk where she remembers her mom not letting her shower with the door closed for fear she might kill herself was heartbreaking.

Getting someone fired was a lot worse than an affair with a married man. Who were you to determine he "deserved" to be fired?

I highly doubt you were perfect in how you handled all the above decisions/actions, and at least from the outside looking in, you probably overstepped in a couple of those scenarios.

You're not perfect. You never were. You have absolutely made bad choices, just maybe on a different scale.

I have never had an affair with a married man. In college, I did fall in love with one of my professors (he was in a long term committed relationship, but not married, no kids). While I was still enrolled though no longer his student, he took on a sort of off-campus advisor position, that probably crossed some boundaries. Lunches/walks in parks, personal discussion, etc. It never went beyond that, but I still was naive and I regret getting involved. I don't feel proud about that.

No one deserves remotely the kind of lifelong extremely public attacks, bullying, and hate that Monica Lewinsky received. The impeachment squabbles were over the top, but it's insanely awful how little blame the men get for their roles.

The Clintons routinely intimidated and bullied many women over the years. Trump will give each a voice one by one and champion the cause of women violated by the powerful.

OMG - look at Linda Tripp now! She looks like a bad version of Caitlin Jenner - even with a ton of surgery!
