And having seen him in other roles I'm really in awe of how completely he becomes Cochran. Phenomenal! |

We watched the first episode this week. I am blown away so far.
This show is based on a book - so any idea of the series is truth vs. fiction? |
I didn't realise Faye was black. I also agree on the miscasting. It seems resnik would've been a lot younger at that time. |
She's not black. Read the whole thread - this was discussed already. Resnick was late 30s at the time and Connie Britton is almost 50 so that is weird. |
| Resnik is Latin. She was born in '57. |
Yeah but the show is set in 1994-1995. |

Anyone notice the jail time discussion between JC and OJ about OJ not knowing many "black people" and why? THAT was eye opening. I
am wondering if most successful AA people feel this way (or perhaps this is a different thread - hopefully one that would not be stifled). The topic is interesting. |
The show features a number of successful African American men who followed different paths in life. |
| Very entertaining show but I could do without the Kardashian brats being featured. |
Amen. |
I was just about to post this. Cuba as OJ is not convincing to me. Body and face wise, there is NO resemblance. His only saving grace is that he has that "childlike bumbling idiot" thing that OJ does down to a science. I couldn't imagine Cuba angry and stabbing someone to death though. He doesn't look the part to me (if that makes sense). O.J. LOOKS like he is CRAZY. |

I thought Travolta was creepy because (1) he is creepy and (2) Shapiro is pretty creepy, too.
|
Thank you! |
People, I mean Mr. Vance no harm. I think he's great. I haven't seen Hunt for Red October or ER, the 2 things mentioned in this thread that he's been in. I will know his name forevermore, forgive me. |
