so true, Obama needs to read this

Bill Gates has a similiar attitude--back when he was building Microsoft he was all about good business.

I think the point is that these guys have proved that they understand business. And now that they have passed beyond the point of "me, me, me" and have the luxury of thinking in larger terms, perhaps they are saying something worth listening to. But I guess that if "me, me, me" is your basic philosophy, they have become heretics.

I flat out don't care whether you believe me after your last comment. You couldn't believe that successful business people hold positions that are contrary to yours, even when you can plainly see that two of the most successful businessspeople of our time disagree with you. So by definition of not bowing to your intellect, they are nuts, and I'm a nut. Now go back to running your kiosk at the mall. I'm sure that beepers are coming back any day now.

Apologies to respectable mall kiosk owners.

I thought worrying about whether Pelosi is credible was a waste of time. Now we are hung up about believing each other????

love the kiosk comment ..typical snotty democrat and no I still don't believe you are a business owner, because stats indicate that the business owners weren't voting for Obama. Sorry they weren't and probably because he has a hostile view toward business unless the government runs it..and into the ground I might add. Have you seen the jobs figures?? It's not surprising..businesses are reacting to these policies and will continue to react. As for the me me me comment..again interesting since most of the policies I see being touted now are ones that ask a certain group of people to fund the majority of other people. That is more of me me me. I would just like to take care of my family and sorry..not yours.

And do you not believe that Michael Steele is a Republican because stats indicate that African Americans vote Democrat?

Plenty of business owners voted for Obama. Again you confuse your opinion with reality. Bye bye beeper king.

Beeper King-hmm no but I am in the top 1% so I am okay with your making fun of me since I know I am successful and smart enough to realize that if someone has a beeper business and it works..they will be laughing all their way to the bank. well why it's still safe to keep money in there before Obama finds away to seize assets. Very few, by the way, business owners voted for Obama esp. ones that had staff to employ. As for Michael Steele--not the same characterization--African Americans by and large did vote for him historical reasons and not for business reasons. A business owner's worst nightmare is Obama since he is not pro business--he is pro government running business which is a wholly different thing and a disaster. Look at the jobs numbers..not good and will get worse.

I would bet my house that the owners of my company (with its 300 employees spread across the US in different offices) voted for Obama. In fact, I think they probably took time off to work for him.

Stats indicate doesn't mean 100%.

My boss is a small business owner that has 9 stores in this area. He voted for Obama. He knows Obama wasn't in his best interest as far as taxes and government interference, but he also could look past himself to see what was best for the country as a whole. He would've voted for Obama regardless of the opposing candidates, but Palin terrified him. He thought it proved how wrong McCain was for the country.

I admire your optimism, but sadly the beeper business is not really working and all the mall kiosks have switched over to mobile phone accessories. If you were smart enough you would do research or at least casual observation. So far, I see no evidence of your success. But hold onto that 1% thing. I bet it impresses somebody.

The point about Steele, which I did not author but at least comprehend, is that you cannot say that there are no black republicans merely because most blacks are democrats. It is a logical fallacy, an invalid logical argument. That author was trying to show by analogy how your logic about me was equally fallacious. You cannot assert that I am not a business person merely because (you believe) a majority of business people voted Republican.
