Not everyone's lifestyle calls for being a sahm. Just because I take my child to daycare I am a bad mom? With 2 incomes we live a much better lifestyle than with just 1 income. It's not that I don't WANT to take care of her, I just give her a better life with mommy AND daddy working. At least if god forbid something ever happens to my boyfriend and I, I can support myself and my child (soon to be children) and won't have to try and search for a job after being out of the work field for so long... Everyone lives different lifstyles and that's okay. You shouldn't jusdge others for giving their kids the best life they can even if that means dropping them off in a safe learning enviornment for 8.5 hours a day. SERIOUSLY! CAN I STAY 22 FOREVER? SOME OLDER PEOPLE ARE KILLING ME WITH THEIR IGNORANCE! Will I automatically loose this when I get older? |
I assume that for everyone who doesn't want people "dumping their kids on someone else" that includes being AGAINST the Welfare to Work Act, right? I mean, we don't want welfare moms working either, do we? They should be home with their kids too...not dumping THEIR kids on someone else.
I think if it works for you, it's gotta work for everyone. |
PP-Love the sarcasim! Classic! |
Will I automatically loose this when I get older?
Correct spelling -- lose not loose Hopefully your grammar will improve with age. |
Dear 22 year old mom - Please shut the f*%1 up until you are old enough to realize how insufferable you are.
Yeah-- having a baby when you're 18--- that clearly makes you a parenting and life choices expert. If only the rest of us could be so clairevoyant. |
I cannot believe the heartlessness of this poster's comments. She sounds like a total right-winger. |
Learn how to do math. I am 22 with a 3 year old. Hmmmm....simple subtraction to most. |
Who said that this woman sent her child to daycare to have him beaten to death. No one said that. She sent her child to an unlicensed daycare under the care of a 21 year old coke head who was married to a man who had a violent criminal record spanning 3 local counties. These poor decisions put her child in harms way and could have been prevented if she had picked a daycare that was legit. |
In addition to your inability to calculate simple arithmetic, the correct spelling is clairvoyant. Did you miss your spelling and vocabulary lessons as well? Because you are using clairvoyant incorrectly. The 22 year old mom takes precautions when choosing the proper daycare to make sure the daycare is a safe environment, this is called being responsible. Being clairvoyant means the ability to predict the future. The 22 year old is making a calculated decision in order to maximize her child’s future safety, she has admitted in an earlier post that there are no guarantees in life. I too wish the rest of us could be so responsible. |
This is not at all a given. Tragically, children die in licensed day cares too. Children die at home with caring parents. Maybe no one should have kids, because no one can 100% guarantee their safety at all times. |
She managed not to get pregnant 'til she was - we stand corrected - 19. But I'm heartened to see she's making responsible decisions now. |
22 yo hear-the pill is only 99.9% effective, common knowledge. I was having sex and I knew there was a small chance of consequences. If I thought I couldn't handle the consequences I would have made the responsible decision to not have sex. I never made an irresponsible decision-ever. |
Yeah! I was in college when I was 22, definitely not thinking of having children. Unthinkable. |
22 yo hear -- Again...the proper spelling is here, not hear. I hope your grammar improves with age. |
I am 22 NOW idiot. How do you know I wasn't in college when I was 19 and got pregnant? How do you know I am not in school now? How do you know I have not graduated college and have a degree? There is night school, weekend classes...stop assuming. You're making an ASS out of yourself! |
