When was the Brady Bunch on? Tuesday nights?

After school. Not prime time for anyone under 50.

really?

Why do I remember it being at night?

Because your bedtime was probably 8:30 so you didn't watch any actual "night time" TV.

I am 51, and don't remember the Brady Bunch in prime time. Welcome Back Kotter, Happy Days, MASH, were the first shows I really remember in prime time.

College: Friends/Will and Grace/ER

Step by Step was a not-miss classic, a fact that makes me question my taste even now. I also loved Just the Ten of Us, which was pretty short-lived.

Haha. I forgot about those! Do you remember "Hi Honey, I'm Home!"?

Anonymous wrote:Okay, I remember in the mid/late 80s NBC's Thursday night lineup went like this:

8:00 - The Cosby Show
8:30 - Family Ties
9:00 - Cheers
9:30 - Night Court

In my view, that can never be topped. All those sitcoms were absolute classics, and at their creative peak as well. Anyone else care to challenge this? Does any other network lineup compare?

Followed by LA Law!

I think it was followed by Hill Street Blues

I cannot remember the shows that were on before it, but I recall watching Love American Style at 11:30 after the news. I'd watch on my groovy bright yellow panasonic portable TV in my bedroom... so naughty for a 13 year old!

My grandparents let us watch Love American Style. And we also watched Saturday Night Live when the original cast was on. We stayed over my grandparents on Saturdays when my parents were still young and fun and went out. My grandparents were only in their 50s.
