I can't remember the year but I am 43 & used to watch this lineup on Saturday nights with my babysitter. I think this was the order.

7:00 The Muppets
7:30 Dance Fever
8:00 The Facts of Life
8:30 Different Strokes
9:00 the Love Boat
10:00 Fantasy Island

I can still sing those theme songs.

Omg, that is a brilliant lineup but I don't think it happened that way. Definitely Love Boat then Fantasy Island but I think the other shows were on different nights. I recall the Muppet Show being on Sundays.

Anonymous wrote:Are you guys Googling this or do you remember nights/order of the lineups? I'm 50 and loved most of these shows, but I have no clue when they were on.

same here

When was the Brady Bunch on? Tuesday nights?

After school. Not prime time for anyone under 50.

really?

Why do I remember it being at night?

Its final season was 1974, and it went into syndication thereafter. Maybe it was on at night where you lived? I know in Boston in the 1980s it was on at around 4 p.m. on whatever the channel was that came before the CW.

Dale Dorman!!!

Anonymous wrote:Okay, I remember in the mid/late 80s NBC's Thursday night lineup went like this:

8:00 - The Cosby Show
8:30 - Family Ties
9:00 - Cheers
9:30 - Night Court

In my view, that can never be topped. All those sitcoms were absolute classics, and at their creative peak as well. Anyone else care to challenge this? Does any other network lineup compare?

Followed by LA Law!

Oh yeah LA law

1982 on NBC: Fame, Cheers, Taxi and Hill Street Blues

Hill Street Blues was a highly influential show.

Pretty solid decade of humor right there.

And ER after.

Step by Step was a not-miss classic, a fact that makes me question my taste even now. I also loved Just the Ten of Us, which was pretty short-lived.
