After school. Not prime time for anyone under 50.

8:00 - The Cosby Show
8:30 - Family Ties
9:00 - Cheers
9:30 - Night Court

In my view, that can never be topped. All those sitcoms were absolute classics, and at their creative peak as well. Anyone else care to challenge this? Does any other network lineup compare?

Oh, you went to bed too early.
10:00 LA Law
That was three straight hours of must see TV and well worth being exhausted the next day.

Followed by LA Law!

I was just killing time until LA Law.

Is there any night now or lineup that is even worth watching right now? I miss having those nights of great TV or even just one good show that I would plan to watch.

Its final season was 1974, and it went into syndication thereafter. Maybe it was on at night where you lived? I know in Boston in the 1980s it was on at around 4 p.m. on whatever the channel was that came before the CW.

It's a different world now with so many channels and so much available on demand. I think the classic sitcom is somewhat dead, as well.

Not the best, but I enjoyed the A-Team, Riptide, Remington Steele Tuesdays.

Who's the Boss, Growing Pains, and Moonlighting were another good Tuesday combo.

I can't remember the year but I am 43 & used to watch this lineup on Saturday nights with my babysitter. I think this was the order.

7:00 The Muppets
7:30 Dance Fever
8:00 The Facts of Life
8:30 Different Strokes
9:00 the Love Boat
10:00 Fantasy Island

I can still sing those theme songs.

I googled it (I did the TGIF lineup), only because I like to have my facts right, but I remember enough shows and when they were on.

Some people think ABC's lineup on Thursday night's is must see TV now.

This is bringing back so many memories! And making me realize I watched a LOT of prime time TV in the 80s.

Mid 80's I would fight with my brother for Saturday night viewing rights - I loved Golden Girls/Amen/227 and he always wanted to watch AIRWOLF or the Saturday night movie!

We watched this lineup all through college (class of 94). Carter hotness vs. Dr Ross hotness was a common debate.
