| If you are looking for a get rich quick scheme that is sure to work, here it is: sacrifice everything (no keeping up with the Joneses at ANY time throughout this scheme); sell your personal belongings; go into debt; actually get in and send yourself to a prestigious university; wear the clothes that you already have (not one stitch more) for at least twenty years, this includes shoes (whether or not they have holes); wear those shoes (minimum 3" heels on public transportation - for when you can afford public transportation); walk 5-10 blocks from public transportation to work/school/home, each way; no use of cabs; use public transportation for anything (no borrowed cars) for doctor's appointments, jobs, classes, anything; work at least 3 part time jobs while maintaining a 4.0 at a highly competitive university (no, my parents did not go there and there were no strings to get me in); work hard at maintaining a 4.0 (since no, people who work hard are NOT those who have things handed to them, and top grades do NOT come easily); get into a top graduate program and do well; get into a top law school and do well (the latter two - repeat process from aforementioned). You know, actually work really hard to get where you are. Food optional throughout this process. Be qualified for the high paying jobs with significant life experience and even more significant work experience. All it requires is, say twenty years plus......THAT is some get rich quick scheme..... |
