I stopped by taking Chantix. The patch didn’t work.

Just buried my mom last year. Lung Cancer. 61. She lived less than 7 months after diagnosis.

Tell your wife you’d like her not to die.

I am not current on any smoking cessation techniques or solutions that are available right now, but whatever your wife decides to use, again...Try to be as patient as you can be. It will not be an easy road for her and there will be times where she will backslide.

But with your full support by her side, the odds that she can conquer this awful habit are stacked highly in her favor.

My parents were smokers. IT's the best bad example you could have. When all my friends were smoking in high school, I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to do such a thing. I still can't.

Adults who continue to smoke are generally very weak willed people. They are also huge slobs, tossing their butts everywhere and every one of them denies it. But just look in their cars and you won't see any butts in their ashtray. It all goes out the window. Smokers are hopeless. Like alcoholics, they will promise you anything when their back is against the wall.

Or just low class people. My experience
