My birthday was this weekend and my family bought me the coconut PF cake because it was always been my favorite. Never disappoints.

| We moved to Texas from NJ in the 80’s and my mom spent DECADES lamenting the lack of Entemanns in Texas ( I assume it’s there by now). She talked about it every weekend when no coffee cakes were to be found lol. |
| I picked a couple up for an office party recently. Everyone loved them and no one had ever had one before. They’d never even noticed them in the store. I think they’re delicious! |
| I really like the fudge stripe; chocolate cake white cake and a mousse like filling. |
| Frozen grocery store cake is trashy. |
| This thread brings back so many childhood memories! That Sara Lee coffee cake heated up in the oven was perfection! We always had the pound cake in the freezer for strawberry shortcake on the regular. And the yellow cake with chocolate icing was a birthday tradition. I remember the icing being light and fluffy, not heavy. I’ll have to try it soon to see if it’s much different. |
Be gone before somebody drops a house on you! |
| I’ve never had one, but I’ve always wondered. Definitely going to try one. Any good frozen key lime pies? I love key lime pie and i never thought to buy a frozen one. |

PF turnovers are still the bomb, but what I miss most from the past is SaraLee's banana cake.
Out of this world. |
Marie Callender (sp?) has a nice key lime that DH likes. |
What’s wrong with trashy! Lots of trash food is good. Like meatballs and chili sauce and grape jelly. |
Of course it is! Doesn't mean we can't like it (or have fond memories of it). |
Trader Joe's frozen key lime pie is good. Cheesecake Factory key lime cheesecake is also good. |
