How much do you spend on vacations/traveling each year

We spend about $5k in vacations a year. We normally drive (locations are within 3 hours) and take long weekend trips. HHI $250

Travel is a priority for us. We usually take three 7 to 10 day trips per year, usually out of the country on each. Plus we take a few weekend trips to see family around the country. My actual spend isn't that bad since I have almost unlimited Amex points (I earn them quicker than I could ever use them). We always fly first class and we always stay at the best hotels but I never pay anything for either (except taxes which are minimal).

If we went out of pocket, I think we would easily spend over $50k a year on vacations. Thanks American Express!

Something around 5-10k but we are spending $$$$ on moving and renovation costs for our new home. HHI 480k.
