Never. I've never even thought it. I don't even say "the N-word" I don't remember anyone ever saying that in real life near me, behind any closed doors or anywhere. Like another person said, even my racist family (not immediate, but extended - aunts and uncles and grandparents) would just whisper "black person" when they were talking about it. It's just never been in our vocabulary.

I hear it occasionally when someone says something is "n------ rigged."

I'm from the south and 95% of the times I heard it, it was a black person saying it.

yes, I listen to rap and watch comedy shows and watch movies. It would be impossible to rap along with any of my favorite songs without using the N word ...
