Cliven Bundy Fans, What Say You Now?

The strategy, if necessary, is to put women and children in front to be shot down if the feds start shooting. What a bunch of lawbreaking cowards.

Actually, the strategy is to aim automatic weapons at government personnel and then complain about overreach when the government personnel respond in kind.

Each and every person involved out there should be tried for sedition and kicked out of the country. Gtmo i too good for them.

"Now let me talk about the Spanish people," Bundy said in a new video unearthed by New York magazine, right after he concluded his thoughts on "the Negro."

"I understand that they come over here against our Constitution and cross our borders," he says. "But they're here and they're people. I worked side-by-side a lot of them. Don't tell me they don't work, and don't tell me they don't pay taxes. And don't tell me they don't have better family structures than most of us white people."

"When you see those Mexican families, they're together. They picnic together. They're spending their time together," he said. "I'll tell you, in my way of thinking, they're awful nice people. We need to have those people join us and be with us."

Sounds like his views are more about government subsidies destroying the work ethic as well as the lack of family values, and less about color.

He's older and his terms are antiquated. He's not a good ambassador, but his points about government assistance destroying work ethic are not new. They are a hotly debated topic

I am personally more concerned with Harry Reid and his corrupt ways lately.

If I recall, the BLM came with lots of firepower

Who brought the gun first? Which group is responsible for enforcing the rule of law? I think, perhaps, that your recollection is a little ... faulty.

The right is so eager to get behind a hero/underdog. Why will they never understand that historically 'State's Rights' was a pseudonym for 'Keep it White' duh! The negro comment is the other side of that same coin. It almost ALWAYS is. They get burned every time.

Unlike many, I do think most modern GOP leadership isn't racist and ignorant - but a lot of their supporters are. Make a deal with the devil - probably going to get burned.

So, on one hand we have an openly-racist rancher who refuses to pay for his use of government-owned land and who is supported by armed men willing to confront federal officers. On the other hand is a democratically-elected government official. Strange which side concerns you more.

Are you honestly suggesting that law enforcement no longer should be armed?

You obviously only listen to sound bites. Both of those have questioned what he has done.

HAHAHAHA! BULLSHIT! They have been cheering those nuts on!

They don't bring firepower to evict cows and deadbeat farmers. They only brought firepower to protect themselves after Bundy put out a call and got a couple hundred heavily armed militia crazies to show up. The Bundy supporters were the ones who escalated, showing up with bullet proof vests and military grade weaponry.

So it's alright for Bundy to get a free government handout for 20 years but the others getting government subsidies lack a work ethic. Seriously?

Federal government doesn't want another Waco tragedy on their hands but I guarantee the government will not be mocked. To ignore a remedy, preferably peaceful, would open the floodgates for any group to illegally claim rightful domain on any federal land.

Is Yellowstone next?

Wow. When was the last time you saw someone point a weapon at federal officers and nothing happened? Wonder what would happen if this was on the mall and the weapon was pointed at Eric Cantor?

It all seems to be part and parcel of what Bundy is all about. He wants free land, free feed via grazing, and now free labor (through slaves and/or exploiting illegal immigrants)...
