I think my child will be offered an AAP spot.

Never too early to make career changes, you know.

It is teachers like you who makes children fall back. Why do you take it as entitlement , but think of it as parents who are looking for more challenging and enriching program for their smartest children. You are the one who feels very entitled at your position .

I think that AART sounds awful. I sure hope it is not the one at my school. I would not want anyone who considers the children she teaches to be rotten apples.

Actually, I love the students who are actually GT (rare these days) and have a spark. Sadly the majority feel that they belong in AAP because their parents have told them that they do. These kids are lazy, produce nothing, yet think that they are God's gift to public education. So many parents believe that their little snow holes are all that when they are not. I have seen so many of these parents who do not behave as if rules and qualification standards do not apply to them and this assholiness is passed on to their kids, as young as second grade.

Wow, I think I should report you to Jeff so he can pass your info on to FCPS. No way you should be working with small children.

This proves the fact that some AARTs are very narrow minded as you are. I hope you are not in my child's school. You don't deserve to be a teacher. You definitely have no respect for your job or the children you teach.

Agree that she needs to be reported but this is anonymous site. Who is Jeff ?

What school is your child at? If you are lucky, I am his or he AART. Actually teaching them instead of stroking their overinflated ego.

Each one of the AART's posts has grammatical errors. In addition to an evil attitude, he/she appears to be deficient in learning. Maybe this person is just a troll.

Then either enrich at home or go to a private school and quit your entitled whining.

Look Projection up in the dictionary, you are the Entitled one thinking that the program should include non gifted kids[u].

Oh dear. Were you not aware that AAP is already made up of mostly non - gifted kids?

What a bunch of ridiculousness. The committee lets in who the committee lets in. Do you have nothing better to do?

Pot, meet kettle.
