Sort of. Most of the booster trolls here are negative on anyone who has concerns or questions about their school.

They have a common refrain: not every school is a good fit for every student.

That's a booster troll and they are pretty easy to spot.


It's one thing to have legitimate questions but it's another thing to wrap an attack in a question or to try and sow bogus controversy about a school, in which case don't be surprised when someone steps up to debunk and clarify. And, who better to clear the air than someone who actually has firsthand knowledge of the school. A second hand opinion will fall short of first-hand knowledge every time.

And, by the way, NO, not every school is a good fit for every student.

Case in point. I forgot to add that booster trolls like to act like they can judge what is or is not a legitimate question. Not to mention the paranoid assumption that anyone asking a question is trying to "sow bogus controversy" that needs a booster to "debunk and clarify" or better yet, "clear the air".

Yes, the troll boosters are a real, live thing and they are obvious in their trolling.

Parents who actually have FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE OF THE SCHOOL are not going to take a back seat to someone who's going on second and third hand info and the only obvious trolling that happens around here is when someone (probably yourself) goes around with some rumor or innuendo based on something they think they heard about some school - and which is invariably blown out of proportion.

We know who the real trolls are around here.

It's not really about the boosters at all - boosters aren't the one doing the shit-stirring around here - it's about the folks who have some agenda against a particular school or group of schools who figure they can use anonymous postings to try and tear the school down - only to keep getting called out and have it all blow up in their faces. Darn those pesky facts to get in the way of the rumor mongering!

And then they get pissy because they couldn't get their way and then try to vilify, harrass and blame "boosters" as though they were the trolls, kind of like the whiny brat kid who started a fight but got his ass kicked, running to his mom looking for sympathy and support crying "But Ma, he hit me back first!!"

LOL! Sorry, but we aren't having any of that here.
