What's your definition? One's who make up things, ones who over exaggerates, the know it all’s so forth and so on. Especially the ones who want you to take the bait and see what type of responses or reactions they will get.

One who has invested in (made a bet on) a struggling school, and knows in her heart and her head that it is still not very good, still has a long way to go, but wants to boost it (promote it) to encourage other high-SES parents to give it a shot and thereby reach the potential she sees in it. (she or he - gender neutral.)

PP here, should have added, the reason it is viewed as a negative is not because she is promoting a school (that's great), but because she is not giving people the straight goods about where the school is at today.

You're talking about White, high SES kids.... Whose parents send their kids to Wilson, Deal, SWS, Latin, Basis and elementary schools, DCPS and charter that are acceptable for the early grades. That's probably the entire list.

You're talking about White, high SES kids.... Whose parents send their kids to Wilson, Deal, SWS, Latin, Basis and elementary schools, DCPS and charter that are acceptable for the early grades. That's probably the entire list.

Those are the schools we are all rooting for....until VA poster chimed in and said "Anyone describing dcps as acceptable or good even the charters" is a troll or booster
