| Because they are trashy realty tv lol |
Do you eat Twinkies or Twizzlers, OP? Do you wear Crocs? Do you drink soda, even diet soda? Do you drive to places you can easily walk to? Do you wear any obvious labels of any kind, anywhere on your clothing or accessories? Have you ever gotten a French manicure? Well, looky there. You do crap that seems lowbrow and unwholesome, too. |

| I actually love the really human moments and compassion you see that people have for others. Like when Dwight apologized to Nene for talking about Greg asking him for a loan ( even though he was totally in the right) because he saw how she was hurting. Or Ramona calling Bethenny every day when she was Ill and it was so obviously genuine and not for the cameras (sitting at her house reading while she rested). |

Beverly Hills, though it's gotten kinda lame the last few seasons. You have to start at the first season. My second choice would be New York. |

It's like a combination of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, a celebrity gossip magazine and an old school soap opera. I like it when they're as real as possible, but after they've been on a while, they get contrived unless something happens that takes them by surprise. The first few seasons seem to be the best. I'm starting to feel like the genre has jumped the shark, or is on the process of jumping the shark.
That being said, it's still rather satisfying mindless entertainment. It's nice to turn your brain off and just spectate these women's nonsense. |
| My dh calls all the housewives my friends. I watch almost everything bravo. All the real housewives, vanderpumps, southern charm and below deck. Don't like the ski lodge show or married to medicine. |
| I only watch RHOA - tried the other ones but never felt turned on by their casts the way I did for this one. I enjoy it because it's simple to follow, I love the drama, I love seeing their clothes/makeup and them planning and executing events. For me it's like lifestyles of the rich and famous with a backstory. |
