Do you ever wear your fur coat?

Fur is in.
I don't have one but would wear it occasionally if I did. I wouldn't wear a fur coat to work but maybe a fur collar.
My mother has a beautiful bobcat coat that she never wears but she doesn't live around here.

I hope you never meet a PETA fanatic.

Why? The idiots throwing paint on fur coats crack me up. Insurance. Then you have the $$$ to go buy a new coat resulting in more animals killed.

No kidding. And their premiums go up (assuming PETA fanatics actually have anything to insure, but not my concern). What hostile losers there are. If you don't have a fur, its not your job to mind people that do.

I wear mine everywhere when the temp is below 30 degrees. It isn't fashionable, but it's incredibly WARM. I've never gotten anything but compliments on it.

I don't care what others think, that is the beauty of it. Such is the case when one is mature enough to wear what they want.

I'm in my 20s and have worn one for the last several years. Gartenhaus is having a big sale soon so I may go pick up another. You really have to have the style to pull it off.

My grandmother had a fur, and now the granddaughters are fighting over who DOESN'T have to get it!

There is nothing warmer or more comfortable in the bitter cold than a nice full-length fur coat. Nothing else comes close. I wear it everywhere once the temperature drops to about 20F.

One very cold winter day my son missed his school bus. I was home sick with the flu, so I just threw the coat over my PJs and drove him to school.

Would never wear the fur on a victimized animal. Not attractive. A turn of when i see them worn.

I've worn my fur this year more than any other year. My fur is warm! I get cold and I love it. I could care less what people think. People in my office also wear their furs. No stigma. It was a cold winter. My MIL lives in Chicago and she has at least 5 fur coats. People in Chicago wear them everyday. The quality depends on the day. Mink may be used for dinner, but raccoon is worn every day.

Did I see you at Whole Foods in Clarendon? It was a beautiful coat. LOL but I just moved from California, and wow I did a double-take. I don't think I've ever seen a real one on a real person before.

I have a gorgeous chinchilla coat and a mink wrap- I got both from high end consignment shops and love them. I mostly wear them in the winter when DH and I go out on dates but I've also been known to do the chinchilla coat when going out for drinks with friends.

I have two that were hand-me-downs. One is long; one is short. They are both too small in the arm/shoulders, and would love to do something with them. But what? Scarf? I've heard some people make pillows.
