| Jeez. A little swipe of neutral shadow, a quick liner job, and a swipe of mascara takes LITERALLY 90 seconds, if that. I mean, if that's people's choice not to wear makeup, that's totally fine, but it's really not a laborious thing nor is it going to be hooker makeup. |
| You know, you ladies are pretty hateful, suggesting that OP is some vain ninny for putting in some effort. Should her husband put in effort for her too? I say yes, if the alternative is that they both give up and look like crap all the time. |
Apparently it is in DC, land of the dumpy and humorless. |
Agree, I didn't think OP was talking about a smokey cat-eye. But have you looked around DC lately? Most people would greatly benefit from a bit of properly applied light make-up. |
Seriously. Hell, I throw on makeup in the bathroom after I get to work most days. Takes just a minute to do some eyeliner, powder, and mascara. |
True that. DC denizens are not exactly know for their attractiveness or fashion sense. |
As far as EYE make up, that's the works. Is there more ??? No, that's the most eye makeup one can wear. |
Listen lady, you put in minimal effort and don't care if you look like shit. That's fine. Why the fuck do you care so much about other people's makeup? Insecure? Let it go already. |
stop trolling. there are different styles of make-up application. you know this. one can wear a light sweep of neutral shadow, a bit of eyeliner on the upper lid only, and one coat of mascara. or one can do an elaborate, dramatic nighttime eye. and there are several options in-between those two. this is not rocket science! |

I don't need make up. I look pretty good without it.
My DH loves me natural. |
Maybe YOU look shitty without make up. Don't assume I do. |
| STFU, PP. No one cares. |
| The only people who don't benefit from a little makeup are 15 or younger. Any older than that and it would behoove you to put on a little. Not a ton, just a bit does wonders. Just my .02. |
+1 Call me old-fashioned, but I think it is unprofessional to go completely bare-faced as an adult in a professional setting. it's like a man going to work without shaving. at home, who cares? |
Exactly. Methinks PP doth protest too much. |
