It depends on how greasy or oily your skin is. If you have oily skin, it will smear. If you have dry skin, it doesn't smear as much. |
| I would say most days yes. Brush hair, reapply lipstick, little things like that. Every once in awhile like today when it's ugly and cold out, I get into sweats and don't give a fuck. But overall I do try to make sure he comes home and sees me looking good. |
| Sounds like you need waterproof mascara - I like Covergirl Clump Crusher - and a gel eyeliner like MAC Fluidline. The pencils smudge on me too. |
| I don't think there is anything wrong with touching up if that makes you feel good after a long day. Go for it. |
+1 Nothing wrong with it. |
Same here. Blotting papers are my saving grace. |
|
My mom used to put on a whole face of make up before my dad came home.
If I am teleworking that day I make sure I am showered and my teeth are brushed, but that's about it. |
My thoughts too, mine never smudges. I wear waterproof. |
LOL, eyeliner, shadow and mascara. That's a whole lot of eye make up. |
What is your fear that you think will happen if he doesn't see you looking good? |
|
LOLOLOL
oh sorry, were you serious? |
NP. It really isn't. |
| I'm 30 and I try to make myself look nice for my guy whenever possible. It makes me feel nice to have clean, shiny hair and a bit of makeup on. There's nothing wrong with that. I think most men appreciate a put-together woman. I do expect the same from him, though, especially if we go on a casual date or something. I don't have kids though, so I can't say I understand what that is like. |
Agree, this is what I put on for going out. |
| No. I will sometimes clean up a bit but I'm pretty sure I've never brushed my teeth just for my husband unless I ate something fragrant and we are about to have sex. And this is only if he didn't eat the same thing I did. |
