In absolute numbers, for sure. in proportion - unlikely. I seriously do not understand why a man would frequent this forum. I certainly would not want to meet that man.

I dont understand this. I check this board out because the conversation abiut relationshups is interesting. Its valuable to see women's perspectives on things. Then i switch back to espn. Ok with you?

no, not really. unless of course you have problems in relationships, but then that's itself is disqualifying.

Disqualifying for what?

Id really like to hear your views on what else men (and women) should not be interested in. Perhaps i should go to the sports and politics threads and tell the women to leave.

Or real estate. That stuff is too complicated for their silly little heads.

It seems to me that you're the one who needs the attention. That's why you keep trying to provoke a fight. After all, DCUM is known to attract women. Is this the only way you can get our attention?

For example, when an over weight woman posts a picture of herself on facebook and all her friends are like, you look gorgeous!

or when they tell her, its ok, you're just big boned, or dont worry there is a guy out there for you or whatever....

what they are doing is creating one less competitor for male sexual attention.

truth is, and EVERYONE KNOWS IT, that being fat and overweight is bad for you and bad for optimizing reproductive success.

yet women encourage each other under the guise of being supportive.

They're not as supportive if you say you're skinny.

I see other women doing it and see the evolutionary benefit, but I still wonder why it's such an issue for some women and not for others.

you're right in general. but thats because the skinny one is seen as more a current sexual competitor rather than one who is on the bench.
so instead of being supportive in keeping you fat and out of the picture, you criticize the skinny one and shame them (possibly) into gaining weight.

unless of course you're talking about ano types which is an entirely different story.

I meant it in the general sense.

I don't do this. My mother does it to me and it's both weird and awful.

No, I'm here to argue with strangers on the Internet.

Once you've purged the men from this forum, do you think there needs to be a regional purge as well, to purify this forum?

(and what do you think of noted male Jeff Steele who runs this forum and presumably frequents it?)

There are a lot of people on here who could benefit from some self-reflection, adjusted perspective, therapy and, if all else fails, happy pills.

An older female poster here, and I agree with you. Too much negativity can destroy the soul.

There are angry and bitter men and there are angry and bitter women.

There are also people who bait other people to bring more drama and nastiness in the conversation. It is amazing that everyone claims to be top 3%, educated, independent, confident, and the conversation devolves to this extent.

And the anonymity does help in removing the filters.

While I'm sure there are more than 1 or 2 men who think this way, I have the strong feeling that one (or maybe 2, 3) men have an ax to grind, and are coming on here and saying things full of hate about women, and then sock puppeting. Does anyone else get this impression?

Whoever it is, you probably have better things to do with your time. Maybe get a good dog, develop a good relationship with it, and spend some time in nature. Women are not your enemy. And by the way, whoever you settle down with is going to get old, as you are, so you may as well make peace with this and stop being so bitter about life. It's short.

+1! If they spoke about any other demographic the way they speak about women, they'd be denounced as racist, homophobic or xenophobic.

Yeah cause there are absolutely no anti-male posts here

Yup. An outside chance of getting punched in the nose does wonders for civility.
