OP, other people have picked up on that as well. Sounds like a guy who felt undesirable in his 20s and early 30s who wants women to feel like they missed out on a guy like him/them.

What I don't understand is why a never married guy with no kids would be interested in this site.

How is that different from a never-married woman with no kids?

Because, these are topics commonly discussed by women, single or married. Married and divorced men, I get. Single guy claiming to be having the time of his life with young women, just doesn't add up.

It is hard to determine what sex and/or orientation most of the poster on the relationship forum are. Can you tell me how you know? Most of the post I see are anonymous.

because often posters refer to their gender/marital status/age when they post.

We just all need to get laid more and we'd be fine

Women are more vicious to other women in matters of looks, potential mates and anything that is related to those topics. It's not even a close race. I'm surprised you can try to blame it on men with a straight face.

And it is scientifically proven that women will be bitches towards other women in order to get a leg up (or open?) for a potential mate. http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=bitch-evolved-girls-cruel and http://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2013/11/the-evolution-of-bitchiness/281657/.

I shudder for my DD.

Wow it looks like the poster hit close to the bone with you. What post were the worst in your case?

That was fascinating. Thanks for posting it.

Whats fascinating about that phenomenon is that it works in ways that are much more subtle and insidious.

For example, when an over weight woman posts a picture of herself on facebook and all her friends are like, you look gorgeous!

or when they tell her, its ok, you're just big boned, or dont worry there is a guy out there for you or whatever....

what they are doing is creating one less competitor for male sexual attention.

truth is, and EVERYONE KNOWS IT, that being fat and overweight is bad for you and bad for optimizing reproductive success.

yet women encourage each other under the guise of being supportive.

They're not as supportive if you say you're skinny.

I see other women doing it and see the evolutionary benefit, but I still wonder why it's such an issue for some women and not for others.

WTF????? What kind of crazy f-ed up people have hijacked this board??
That's the biggest load of horse s**t I've ever heard.
But there's no reasoning with someone so emotionally stunted.

You missed the point of the PP. Weight was only an example.

you're right in general. but thats because the skinny one is seen as more a current sexual competitor rather than one who is on the bench.
so instead of being supportive in keeping you fat and out of the picture, you criticize the skinny one and shame them (possibly) into gaining weight.

unless of course you're talking about ano types which is an entirely different story.

Short, mommy-bob haircuts too. "Oh, that's so cute!" The percentage of women who look sexier with short hair than long hair is miniscule.

While I'm sure there are more than 1 or 2 men who think this way, I have the strong feeling that one (or maybe 2, 3) men have an ax to grind, and are coming on here and saying things full of hate about women, and then sock puppeting. Does anyone else get this impression?

Whoever it is, you probably have better things to do with your time. Maybe get a good dog, develop a good relationship with it, and spend some time in nature. Women are not your enemy. And by the way, whoever you settle down with is going to get old, as you are, so you may as well make peace with this and stop being so bitter about life. It's short.

+1! If they spoke about any other demographic the way they speak about women, they'd be denounced as racist, homophobic or xenophobic.

Translation: If your views and opinions contrast with mine you need to shut up.

Not maybe in her opinion, but definitely in mine, especially if you insist on spouting the same old tired boring misogynistic nonsense.
