Angry, bitter men on this forum

I've read over some recent threads and I get the impression that there are 1 or 2 men who keep posting along the same lines - "why would I want to date a woman in her 40s", "older men are so great," "women lose their value once their reproductive years are over," etc etc. They are written in the same tone, with the same language at times. While I'm sure there are more than 1 or 2 men who think this way, I have the strong feeling that one (or maybe 2, 3) men have an ax to grind, and are coming on here and saying things full of hate about women, and then sock puppeting. Does anyone else get this impression?

Whoever it is, you probably have better things to do with your time. Maybe get a good dog, develop a good relationship with it, and spend some time in nature. Women are not your enemy. And by the way, whoever you settle down with is going to get old, as you are, so you may as well make peace with this and stop being so bitter about life. It's short.

While I agree with your conclusion with respect to that particular thread, there's a lot of angry bitter people of both genders and lots of ages on DCUM.

There are a lot of people on here who could benefit from some self-reflection, adjusted perspective, therapy and, if all else fails, happy pills.

OP, other people have picked up on that as well. Sounds like a guy who felt undesirable in his 20s and early 30s who wants women to feel like they missed out on a guy like him/them.

What I don't understand is why a never married guy with no kids would be interested in this site.

Wasn't the dating a woman in her 40s thread a farce in response to the other thread about not wanting to date old dudes?

Women are more vicious to other women in matters of looks, potential mates and anything that is related to those topics. It's not even a close race. I'm surprised you can try to blame it on men with a straight face.

A vast majority of posters here are women. You do get that?
