Angry, bitter men on this forum

There were a lot of angry, judgmental women on the "men over 60" thread, too.

While I'm sure there are more than 1 or 2 men who think this way, I have the strong feeling that one (or maybe 2, 3) men have an ax to grind, and are coming on here and saying things full of hate about women, and then sock puppeting. Does anyone else get this impression?

Whoever it is, you probably have better things to do with your time. Maybe get a good dog, develop a good relationship with it, and spend some time in nature. Women are not your enemy. And by the way, whoever you settle down with is going to get old, as you are, so you may as well make peace with this and stop being so bitter about life. It's short.

Translation: If your views and opinions contrast with mine you need to shut up.

Actually, I saw it more as men getting nasty about women not wanting to be hit on by older men. What's wrong with that? The men were the ones getting defensive and calling op names.

In absolute numbers, for sure. in proportion - unlikely. I seriously do not understand why a man would frequent this forum. I certainly would not want to meet that man.

I dont understand this. I check this board out because the conversation abiut relationshups is interesting. Its valuable to see women's perspectives on things. Then i switch back to espn. Ok with you?

What I don't understand is why a never married guy with no kids would be interested in this site.

How is that different from a never-married woman with no kids?

Because, these are topics commonly discussed by women, single or married. Married and divorced men, I get. Single guy claiming to be having the time of his life with young women, just doesn't add up.

no, not really. unless of course you have problems in relationships, but then that's itself is disqualifying.

OP was pretty unpleasant. If someone hits on you on a dating site, say "No, thanks" and move on. It's the nature of a dating site. Men hit on everything with a picture and sometimes everything WITHOUT a picture.

Other women were also plenty unpleasant before any guy chimed in.

Disqualifying for what?

Id really like to hear your views on what else men (and women) should not be interested in. Perhaps i should go to the sports and politics threads and tell the women to leave.

Or real estate. That stuff is too complicated for their silly little heads.

It is hard to determine what sex and/or orientation most of the poster on the relationship forum are. Can you tell me how you know? Most of the post I see are anonymous.

The trainwreck guy on the "no women over 40s" thread has kids. He has at least one kid with his ex-wife and another kid with his girlfriend. Fucker is setting up franchises.

He seems like a nice guy...he tells me I am beautiful!

The "no, not really" woman is being stupid and/or insecure. Personally, I would never read this board if I thought it was exclusively women. Also, I think my husband could learn a thing or two about how to suck less if he followed some of these threads

Haha, man here: I got addicted to DCUM a long time ago, and actually get useful information from it once in a while.

(Not involved in any of the threads the OP referred to though)
