So you think. Many Jews who lived in Germany in the 40s had friends too. Where were there when my family was being burned? I can have my grandmother tell you all about her German "friends" |
Her German "friends" are almost all dead. Most of the German population wasn't even born yet when your (and my) family was being burned. |
I'm AA. and I grew up in a city where people still had the numbers. What exactly do you want to know?
I think a comedian said it best years ago. Nothing good comes from a unified Germany. |
I'm Jewish. The only discussion I've had about boycotting anything German was that if I inherited money from my grandfather, I wouldn't use it for a German car or travel to Germany, out of respect for him. Other than that, I would probably travel there one day, and judge individual Germans as individuals. |

Oops 850 and 51 - sorry for double post |
Lol. I like you. Coffee? |
But they are still very racist and xenophobic. I don't blame your friend. I swore I would never by a Benz or BMW as a child. And I'm an AA... Of course then I moved to Arlington. |
maybe we should judge the current population so that before anyone else decides to have a killing orgy they realize that it will take hundreds of years to clean the slate. |
Have heard that, I think they learned the obnoxious thing in Europe, Germany to be exact. |
They believed that they had a problem with farm land to population. They (Hitler) also believed that Germany missed out on having colonies like the Brits, Spaniards, French, Dutch and so on. |
Sure thing! |
The UN had no business GIVING anything away that was not theirs. There is the fundamental problem. And help me to understand why the UN allowed the ethnic cleansing, removal of Palestinians? That is so backward. Nazism was one racist mess, Zionism is also one racist mess. |
Thank you for that! I am fascinated with genetics and have even submitted my DNA to the National Genographic project. My brother had his DNA submitted to a different company, but found out that our jewish linage most likely originated in Greece...even though we are ashkenazi jews. I read about the Genographic project years ago. There was a story in there that talked about a tribe in Africa (not sure which country) who's folktales spoke of them being one of the lost tribes of Israel. Of course nobody believed them. So the guy who started the project went out and tested their DNA. Sure enough, they traced their DNA to the Kohanim. They apparently are descendants of the ancient rabbis in Israel. |
We should always be watching to guard against a future "killing orgy." Of course, that does not happen (Congo, Sudan, Rawanda, to name just a few). Germans should not be singled out for that. |
