How often does your husband cook?

Dh here. I make 2/3 of the meals in our house. I work FT and my wife SAH.

My DH cooks about once a month.

Almost everyday lucky me!

My DH cooks 99% of the time. He likes to and my cooking isn't great.

My DH does all the cooking and is in charge of the kitchen. I don't even know where everything goes. I do the laundry though and then we split the rest of the household chores. I'm not fond of it but I do know how to cook, Dh just really enjoys it. He will make anything I ask for and enjoys looking for new recipes.

I hate everyday cooking. DH loves it. So he cooks every meal. Makes breakfast and packs lunch. He bakes too - fancy complicated stuff. My kids are finicky and everyone wants to eat something different - and he happily makes it for them. Everyday.

I am SAH, he works full time. High profile job too. He says he finds cooking relaxing and he truly enjoys feeding people. What can I say? I am very blessed.

Never. Unless it involves a grill.

My husband does 95% of the cooking in our house. He is better at it than I am and also enjoys it. He also packs the school lunches.

We both work full time and I think we are 50/50 in terms of household chores.

But he never cleans the toilets...

He does all the cooking unless we go out.

I don't cook. Ugh.

(Actually, I really know very few people who hate cooking, and fewer still where there is a mixed cook/non-cook marriage. Most people I know who like to cook end up married to other people who like to cook.)

What alternate universe are you from? Aside from my DH, I don't know any men who cook regularly. I know plenty of whiny, martyred wives though!

What year are you posting from?

9 times out of 10 DH cooks. I'm busy nursing & I'm way more tired than him from mid night wake ups.
