How often does your husband cook?

Also all the time. I come from a long line of terrible cooks.

A few times a year and "almost nerves" are pretty much the same.

I cook. My husband does the dishes.

When I buy all the ingredients and he does the finish work and I get all the clean-up. So, on days I do not want to cook we go out or carry out as him cooking is no break for me.

Never. When I met him he used to cook - stir fry sausages with a bag of frozen vegetables medley.

Same.

He cooks 90% of the time. It's awesome.

Almost every night.

He does it unless we are eating out...

Never. I'm a great cook and I love to do it, while he is a pretty terrible cook. He does the dishes, so it's win-win! His parents are terrible cooks, so he often tells me how lucky he is to be married to a great cook.

We each cook about half the time.

Never.

(Actually, I really know very few people who hate cooking, and fewer still where there is a mixed cook/non-cook marriage. Most people I know who like to cook end up married to other people who like to cook.)

What alternate universe are you from? Aside from my DH, I don't know any men who cook regularly. I know plenty of whiny, martyred wives though!

At the least, two nights a week (the night I get home late and one or both weekend nights). He also usually makes a big weekend breakfast. We both enjoy cooking, but most nights I get home a couple hours before him, so I do more.
