I still cannot call for the head of a teacher just because a nude picture of her may (or may not be) online.

OP sounds like someone who jumps to conclusions easily. What if it's not the teacher? Is it just a topless shot? The teacher just standing naked? Self-righteous parents on this site like to act holier-than-thou when it comes to teachers--as if they and their spouses don't get naked or do naughty things in their private lives. OP here - sorry for not posting again sooner. First, another parent told me about this. Second, when you google this teacher's name, the photos do pull up. He was apparently a nude male model in the not so distant past. I'm not a prude and nudity doesn't bother me. But, when a child (and let's face it, children do get on the internet, and parents can't always control - especially when they're in 4-8 grades on iphones or computers) can see a picture of their teacher in their full glory - it could cause problems. I also think it is a lack of judgement on the teacher's part.

^^ OP, Do not provide a link here. It would go viral from here and further embarrass the teacher. He doesn't deserve that. But, I would notify the school. This silly young man should not be influencing kids. The second I saw my own kid being so dumb I'd trace it back to this teacher and his influence. Also, who knows what else they're doing. After all, he's not so swift in the judgment area.

Tell the teacher. To his face. Tell him what your concerns are. See if he can do anything to hide these pictures or get the name on them changed. You can't call yourself not a prude and in the same breath say that the teacher is showing lack of judgement for prior acts that have nothing to do with his teaching ability.

What do you want to see done here? Do you think that any teacher who has ever done a nude photo shoot should be fired for having done it? Should we have purity tests for teachers? Should we fire teacher who offend anyone's moral standards - like schools who fire unmarried pregnant teachers? Pray tell, what outcome are you seeking?
