My shows are all ending. Help me find new ones.

Everytime I talk to my mom she asks me if I'm watching Scandal. I think I'm gonna have to find a way to catch the first season (just to get her off my back)....

you shouldn't have a problem catching up on scandal - there were only a few episodes in the first season.

I'm trying not to watch the Americans but I do. Not sure what I think but so far I don't like Keri Russell as the bad guy.

I don't know that she's really the "bad guy." I think we're supposed to have some pity for them.

I am also loving Nashville and Downton Abbey. Not a big medical drama fan but did love Private Practice. Try The Mindy Project for a little light humor.

Looks like we will find out how Ted met their mother at the end of this season (i.e., May). Next season is actually the last.

Well, they have already aluded to the fact that he meets her at Barny and Robin's wedding (the scheduled band cancels, Ted runs into an old girlfriend - the girl who used to live with Ted's future wife, adn she tells him that their band just happens to be free). They showed parts of this in several episodes now. We just haven't seen her. Man...I may watch this show too often.

By the way, the new season of the Big C is subtitled "hereafter." Not a good sign perhaps. I love Laura Linney.

Anyone know when Nurse Jackie is returning? I usually only sign up for Showtime during the summer when the shows I usually watch aren't on.

Honey is that you? I swear, if you keep filling up our DVR with Simpson episodes in HD, there is going to be hell to pay.

Ha, ha. I'm the PP and haven't watched the Simpsons in a decade or more. I will admit about six hours on my DVR are devoted to 60 Minutes and CBS Sunday Morning, which I love but never can make the time for since I need the candy of Scandal and Grey's Anatomy more for my mental health after a crazy day of work and kids.

I use a roku for netflix streaming and amazon prime [will be exclusive for Downton Abbey]. I will miss Private Practice. Amazon stores in the cloud. Check out HBO Go.
Amazon has Game of Thrones and Downton is broadcast on PBS but the episodes are UK version on Amazon [longer].

I only saw half of the first episode but I had a rough time dealing with a show taking place in the early 80's when Keri Russel's natural hair is PERFECT 80's hair and yet she still straightens it for the show. Yes, this is what I fixated on.

I was not sold on Justified's first season, so have some persistence because it pays off BIG later!
